Wakana got interest from this career because she has joined the dance club when she was 16 years old, I was a dancer, and joined after school activities as dance club. When they were preparing the makeup, it makes me realize that how makeup can change the people look.
About Wakana’s career, she has worked with many people and firms. As what she said, these amazing working experiences makes the journey for her dream even more amazing. She had did makeup Jobs for magazines and films, celebrities, campaigns globally, such as Tokyo Disney resort, Maison Kitsune Paris, Onitsuka Tiger…etc; Fashion shows in Tokyo and New York, Milan, Paris. In February 2022, I’ve done fashion shows in Milan and Paris, legendary fashion brands such as Moschino, Missoni, Bottega Veneta and Vaquera.
Wakana has mentioned some experiences. In Milan, my first show was Moschino show, she did make up for Felice Nova Noordhoff. She is such an impressive person. She likes the work that I did, for example, how I use my makeup skills to structure her face to make it pretty and glow. At Moschino show, I was on the team to work with the master makeup artist by Kabuki. As we are doing for the Moschino fashion show, I did the make-up differently. For eyes, hint of pink and purplish color and dramatic eyelashes. The eyebrow shape was 80s and dramatic shape. I used glue for eyebrows to make it flat.
I also did a lot of make-up to make models looks their skin natural and beautiful. For example, another of my favorite work during Milan/Paris Fashion week. I had used MAC face and body foundation. It is really light weight. Additionally, it is really flexible for making skin texture.
If you are applying with facial oils, and blending by beauty blender. It gives dewy skin texture.
Also, it is buildable with some concealer.
Wakana has started this journey for several years and she found out that being an make-up artist and working with these amazing people has make her happy in her life and career.
